Gamma Kappa

Alpha Delta Pi was founded May 15, 1851 and was the first secret society for women. Originally founded in Mancon, GA at Wesleyan college it has expanded to include 161 chapters across the US. West Virginia Wesleyan College houses the Gamma Kappa Chapter since 1948. 

Alpha Delta Pi’s philanthropy of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, RMHC, which helps to provide support to families of those with sick children worldwide. It helps provide housing and resources that are available during this time period of their lives. Members of Alpha Delta Pi help to support this through volunteering, donations, and collecting pop tops which helps raise funds.

In addition to the RMHC, Alpha Delta Pi partners with the Max Gruver Foundation – an organization established to end-hazing on campus and within Greek Life. The support for this takes place during national hazing prevention week where awareness on the subject is brought to light and students and staff show their support to anti-hazing.
