Spring Sing

Spring Sing marks the grand finale of Greek Week and takes place during Spring Weekend. It serves as a special opportunity for Greek alumni to return to campus and engage with current members of the Greek community.

Each participating organization submits a preferred music genre in advance, which is then voted on and officially announced during the Fall Homecoming Weekend football game. Following this announcement, each organization appoints a Spring Sing Chair who attends planning meetings and selects the songs their chapter will perform.

Rehearsals begin in the latter part of the first quarter of the spring semester. These preparations are kept confidential within each organization to preserve the element of surprise and excitement for the final performances.

During Spring Weekend, the Spring Sing Court is introduced, featuring representatives from all class years, culminating in the crowning of a King and Queen from the senior class. All organizations then take the stage to deliver their highly anticipated performances, which are evaluated by a panel of neutral, volunteer staff members based on a range of criteria.

The evening concludes with the announcement of winners for Spring Sing, Penny Wars, Spring Sing Choreography, Spring Sing Banners, and the overall Greek Week competition.

A plaque is awarded for the overall Spring Sing Choreography, overall Spring Sing Banner, and the sorority and fraternity Spring Sing winners respectively.

A check in the amount collected is presented to the winners for Penny Wars.
